Kohima, July 13 (MExN): Nagaland observed a one-day State Mourning on Monday in line with the Government of India's decision to honour the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Father Amir of the State of Qatar, who died on July 12. According to a DIPR report, the State joined the rest of the country in observing the mourning as a mark of respect. During the period of mourning, the National Flag was flown at half-mast on all buildings across the State where it is flown regularly. Official entertainment programmes were also suspended for the day.
