Mon, February 15 (MExN): An order prohibiting the movement of people crossing the international border between India and Myanmar has been issued on Saturday, by Mon Deputy Commissioner Thavaseelan K. This is necessitated in the interest of public health and safety, the notice read.
The notice has been issued as per the directives of the state government following the reported outbreak of Novel Corona Virus in China and other countries and on declaration of the same as Public Health Emergency of International concern by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The DC further informed that the order will remain active till further notice.
