Nagaland In-Service Doctors’ Association conference

Dimapur, April 25 (MExN): All the members of Nagaland In-Service Doctors’ Association are informed that there will be an annual general conference cum Continuing Medical Education programme on May 13, 2011, at 10:00 am at Hotel Japfu, Kohima.
A press note issued by Dr. H Hotokhu Chishi, president and Dr. I Temsu Longchar, general secretary, Nagaland In-Service Doctors’ Association stated that  Kuzholuzo Neinu, Minister Health & Family Welfare, and Lalthara, IAS, Chief Secretary, government of Nagaland will grace the occasion as the chief guest and the guest of honour respectively. The note stated that pertinent issues concerning the interest and welfare of the working doctors will be taken up during business session. Therefore, all the convenors and secretaries of the district action committees (CMO & MS) are requested to submit their respective district and local agendas pertaining to the department and the association. Also, Nagaland In-Service Doctors’ Associations’ “Rural Service Excellence Award-2010 will be presented to the Doctors working in the most rural and difficult areas during the inaugural function.
The note also directed all medical officers including Directorate officers, Chief Medical Officers, Medical Superintends, District programme officers, hospital base Doctors, Dental Surgeons & Ayush Doctors working under the department of health & family welfare (contractual & regular) are to attend the conference without fail. However, they are requested to make local arrangements in their respective hospitals to avoid public inconvenience during the conference. All the CMOS (District Convenors) are also requested to collect Rs. 1000 each as Annual membership fee from all the Doctors working under them and submit the same during the conference.
