DIMAPUR, JULY 21 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed that provisional results of the HSLC & HSSLC Compartmental & Improvement Examination 2023 which was conducted from June 22 to 28 have been declared today.
A total of 1,510 candidates appeared the HSLC Compartmental Examination 2023 and out of which 658 candidates qualified the examination with a pass percentage of 43.58%.
In HSSLC Compartmental Examination 2023, a total of 640 candidates appeared in Arts Stream, out of which 364 candidates passed with a pass percentage of 56.88%, 88 candidates appeared under Commerce Stream with 55 candidates passed the examination with a pass percentage of 62.50% and 223 candidates appeared in Science Stream and 78 candidates passed with pass percentage of 34.98 %.
In HSLC Improvement Examination 2023, 30 candidates appeared and 27 qualified. In HSSLC Improvement Examination 2023, under Arts stream, 1(one) candidate appeared and passed. Under Science stream, 35 candidates appeared and 18 passed the Improvement Examination.
It may be mentioned here that the NBSE is conducting the Compartmental Examination for the HSSLC candidates for the first time. Similarly, the Improvement Examination for both HSLC and HSSLC candidates have been conducted for the first time where the provision to appear the examination in the same year was given for Improvement of Performance to facilitate students to improve grades or marks to pursue higher education with their choice of subjects.
