Kohima, April 18 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) will declare the provisional results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examinations 2026 on April 24 afternoon.
The results will be accessible through multiple modes, including printed Result Gazettes to be issued to all registered institutions along with Marksheets and Pass Certificates. The soft copy will be made available on the Board's official portal www.nbsenl.edu.in.
The results can also be accessed online through www.jagranjosh.com, www.indiaresults.com, www.schools9.com, and www.results.shiksha. Facilities to download marks and Marksheets will be available on www.nbsenl.edu.in, www.indiaresults.com, and www.results.shiksha, while Migration Certificates can be downloaded through the NBSE portal. An Android mobile result application will also be available on the Play Store.
Regarding document distribution, the Board will issue documents to Centre Superintendents from May 1 to 5. The Centre Superintendent will collect and distribute to the schools under his/her Centre. In case, a Centre Superintendent cannot come, he/she can authorize another Center Superintendent who is coming to collect the documents on his/her behalf.
NBSE Secretary and Chairperson (Additional Charge) Rangumbuing Nsarangbe urged all Centre Superintendents to note the dates and collect documents accordingly.
A total of 16,096 students, including compartmental candidates, appeared for the HSSLC examination across 68 centres in the state. Of these, 11,824 students were from the Arts stream, 1,181 from Commerce, and 3,091 from Science. The HSSLC examination was conducted from February 12 to March 9. For the HSLC examination, a total of 23,504 students, including 739 compartmental candidates, appeared across 98 examination centres. The examination was held from February 13 to 16.
