Mokokchung, June 29 (MExN): A single cement pavement road on L Pangersowa road under Changtongya town from Longchara junction to R.C Chitenjamir Memorial GHS was inaugurated by MLA, Nuklutoshi on June 27.
Inaugurating the pavement road at a short programme at R.C Chiten Jamir Memorial School’s Auditorium, Nuklutoshi said a significant milestone has been achieve with the inauguration of the L. Pangersowa Road pavement project, enhancing connectivity and development, stated a DIPR report.
The MLA highlighted the importance of the connectivity of the road which was feel by the citizens of the town and thanked the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Dr Neiphiu Rio.
“Roads are vital for economic growth, social development, connectivity, and overall improvement in the quality of life of its citizens as they serve as the backbone of a country's transportation system and infrastructure development,” he said.
SDO (C) Changtongya, Sangpangchang Longkumer in his short speech thanked MLA Nuklutoshi for the development of the road which was one of the important connectivity within Changtongya town and hope that it will ease in solving the needs of the community of the town.
