Dimapur, July 10 (MExN): The Rotary Club of Dimapur organised its 51st installation ceremony in the presence of PDG Rtn Trilok Singh, Rtn Dilip Somani, Rtn Deepak Dutta from RC Jorhat, 42 Rotarians and more than 150 guests.
According to a press release received here on Sunday, outgoing President Rtn Bajrang Bucha addressed the gathering which was followed by the secretarial report delivered by the outgoing secretary Rtn Pankaj Modi on the impact of service projects done in the golden jubilee RY 21-22.
Change of guard and oath taking ceremony took place where the incoming President Rtn Manish Jain, incoming Secretary Rtn Prashant Agarwal and other board members took the pledge to serve the club and the community to the best of their capabilities.
On the occasion, a scholarship of Rs 5000 each was distributed to 5 underprivileged meritorious students, the release stated.
Meanwhile, Abhay Giri, Prabhari of Nagaland and Manipur BJP, delivered a short note on the success of Rotary and the contribution of Rotarians in the society. The chief guest delivered his words of wisdom and the meeting was concluded with dinner, it added.
