Night curfew from 8pm-5am in Dimapur starting April 23

Dimapur, April 21 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner Dimapur has informed that there will be night curfew on all days starting from April 23 between 8:00pm and 5:00 am.

All shops, business establishments, restaurants etc are to be closed by 7:00 pm. Commercial activities and any assembly of four or more persons have also been prohibited.

However, medical, emergency and essential services, including pharmacies are to be fully functional during the curfew hours.

All weekly markets in the district are also not allowed to be open until further orders.

Persons arriving from outside the State have been directed to remain in self-isolation for 10 days, if no negative RT-PCR/True Nat/CBNAAT test result done not earlier than 72 hours prior to entry into the State is produced on arrival or if test result is awaited.

The order has been issued in pursuance to directives of the Home Department and Order issued by the Office of the Chief Secretary and as decided in the DTF meeting held on April 21, the DC stated.
