Dimapur, October 4 (MExN): The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) on Sunday unveiled the official logo of the Nagaland State & Para Games (NSPG) 2026, marking the transition from the Games’ former identity as the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games (NOPG).
The new visual identity brings together sport, inclusivity, Naga heritage and the collective strength of Nagaland’s districts, guided by the Games’ motto, “Stronger Together”.
At the heart of the logo is a flame and torch, symbolising unity, aspiration, progress and the spirit of sport.
Surrounding the torch are dynamic athlete figures representing different sports, including a para-athlete in a wheelchair. According to the NOA, their presence reflects the inclusivity, equality and diverse sporting talent brought together by the Games.
The circular form of the logo represents unity and community, as well as the coming together of all districts and athletes.
Traditional Naga-inspired geometric motifs have also been incorporated into the identity, grounding the Games in Nagaland’s cultural heritage.
The logo’s colour palette carries distinct meanings. Naga Red represents courage, energy and passion; Hills Blue represents tradition, stability and trust; Sun Yellow represents aspiration, optimism and progress; Earth Green represents nature, growth and resilience; Unity Purple represents inclusivity, diversity and strength; and Flame Orange represents spirit, movement and achievement. Together, the colours symbolise diversity, energy, different sports and the spirit of all 17 district contingents.
The identity is built around the idea of athletes, districts, sports and communities coming together through competition, with “Stronger Together” serving as the motto of NSPG 2026.
The NOA said the logo brings the collective spirit to life through its torch, athlete figures, circular form, colours and Naga-inspired elements, creating a visual identity representing sport, culture, inclusion and unity.
The Nagaland State & Para Games 2026, organised by the NOA, will be held from November 2 to 14 in Chümoukedima and Dimapur, bringing together representatives from all 17 districts of Nagaland.
The new logo will serve as the official visual identity of the Games across communication, promotional and event-related platforms.
The logo was designed by Süngtirong Imchen, Creative Director of KAKI Marketing.
