Kohima, July 3 (MExN): Following the instruction to all the departments to set up an AIDS Cell in every department in Nagaland, 42 departments have set up the same and action plans have been made in 28 departments till date. It is learnt the resource persons are being trained in every department so that they can include HIV/AIDS topics in their organizing training programmes. The health department alone cannot solve the problem of HIV/AIDS unless multi-sectoral partners work together in bringing about behavioral changes in the vulnerable population, department concerns said. “Creating awareness and preventive measures to be adopted by every individual in the state will need the support of all agencies,” it was expressed.
