Kohima, October 9 (MExN): The Naga People’s Front (NPF) on Friday expressed profound sorrow over the untimely demise of Kuchi Rangkau, son of Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister TR Zeliang.
In a condolence statement, the NPF said Kuchi Rangkau would be remembered for his humble nature, gentle demeanour and soft-spoken manner.
The party said his friendly disposition and warm rapport with people from all walks of life had endeared him to many. A passionate sports enthusiast, he shared a special bond with the younger generation and was widely loved for his affability and sporting spirit, it added.
Describing his demise as a great loss to his family, friends and all who knew him, the NPF conveyed its heartfelt condolences to Zeliang and the bereaved family.
The party expressed solidarity with the family and prayed that Almighty God would grant eternal rest to the departed soul and bestow strength, courage and solace upon the bereaved family to endure the loss.
“May his soul rest in eternal peace,” the statement said.
