NSRLM programme launched at RD Block Kobulong

Mokokchung, September 25 (MExN): Launching programme of Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM) under the Department of Rural Development was held at BDO office, RD Block Kobulong, Mokokchung on September 21.  

The programme was chaired by Bendangsenla, Area Coordinator, Kobulong block. Moatoshi, Block Program Manager, NSRLM Kobulong Block in his welcome address and introduction to NSRLM shared on the aims and objective of NSRLM and activities to be undertaken in the block.  

Bendangtoshi, Assistant District Program Manager enlightened the participants on the Status of NSRLM in Mokokchung till date. Project Officer, DRDA, Mokokchung and District Program Manager, Toshimongla Kichu in her speech exhorted the stakeholders as well as the staffs of NSRLM to discover the resources and full potential of the area for the upliftment of income in the households through the formation of women SHG. Er. Temsu Jamir, BDO, RD block, Kobulong also appealed to the village councils and VDBs to extend full support to the Mission.  

Namoijam Bhopendro Singh, Branch Manager, Central Bank of India, Kobulong Branch, in his speech promised to extend cooperation to the Mission as well as SHGs in uplifting the poor in the Block. The program was attended by EAC Kobulong, Staffs of Central Bank of India Kobulong Branch, Project Officer DRDA, Mokokchung, BDO and staffs of RD Block, Kobulong, staffs of District Mission Management Unit (DMMU, NSRLM, DRDA, Mokokchung), Village Councils, VDBs, Women Department and SHGs representatives from all the villages under RD Block, Kobulong, Mokokchung.
