Lumami, April 16 (MExN): The Department of Environmental Science, Nagaland University headquarters in Lumami will be celebrating ‘Earth Day-2024’ from April 18 to 22.
A press release from the NU Lumami stated that headed by Prof Ashutosh Tripathi, Department of Environmental Science, NU is dedicated to raising awareness about environmental issues and promoting sustainable practices.
Prof Ashutosh Tripathi has stated that during this period, various competitions and lectures will be organized to foster a deeper understanding of environmental challenges and solutions. “We believe that such initiatives not only educate but also inspire individuals to take action towards preserving our planet,” he added.
The valedictory programme will be held 2 at the headquarters in Lumami on April 2. The programme will feature presentations, discussions, and awards to recognize outstanding contributions to environmental conservation.
The Department of Environmental Science, NU has invited students, faculty, staff, and the wider community to participate actively in 'EARTH DAY - 2024'.
