Dimapur, March 1 (MExN): The Dimapur police reported that around 1400 hrs on Friday, a written memo was received at GRPS from Station Manager, NF Railway Dimapur stating that one unidentified male (non-local) age around 35-40 yrs. (approx.) was found lying dead at train track KM 260/1-2 below flyover bridge, Dimapur.
“Accordingly basing on the information, the duty party rushed to the PO site and conducted inquest over the dead body. The cause of dead is suspected to be run over by a running train. On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for PM examination/identification,” Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime) & PRO, Dimapur stated in a press release
The deceased had fair complexion with black hair; wearing blue jean long pant, brown sleeve shirt and black T-shirt.
