Wokha, December 2 (MExN): The various committees of 19th LBES Youth Rally scheduled for January 12–14, 2018 at N. Longidang Baptist Church have informed the officials, delegates, and all the 137 churches under Lotha Baptist Ekhumkho Sanrhyutsu (LBES) or Lotha Baptist Churches Association that the road leading to the rally venue has been repaired and maintained to ensure safe and comfortable journey for all who will be attending the rally. Therefore, the participants have been invited to come without any reservation or hesitation.
A press release received here informed that ahead of the Youth Rally hosted by the eight villages of Nyiro Range under Wokha district, the Planning, Finance and various Committees reviewed the condition of Wokha-Longidang road.
“After a thorough survey, the Committees came to the conclusion that repair and maintenance of the road has become a necessity in order to ensure safe and comfortable journey of the officials and delegates attending the Rally,” said the release from the Planning Committee, Finance Committee as well as the Chairman of the Rally. The target of the Committees was to employ machinery and manual force for 13 days and as targeted, the work was completed on November 30, it was informed.
The Committees have thanked all those who contributed in the repair of the road in various ways.
