MOKOKCHUNG, APRIL 20 (MExN): Office of the Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Mokokchung has informed that vegetation clearance for 132kV & 66kV Transmission Lines is scheduled from April 25 till May 31.
This exercise is necessitated with the aim to provide stable power supply and avoid unwarranted disruption of supply, a press release issued by Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Mokokchung, Er Hekaito Assumi informed. In this connection, there will be shutdown of power supply from 8 AM to 4 PM daily in order to facilitate smooth execution of work. For Tuensang district, the power shutdown will be from April 25-30; for Zunheboto district, power shutdown will be from May 6-18; for Tuli sub-division, Longleng and Mon district, May 13-18 and for Mokokchung, May 20-31.
The Department has appealed to the public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear with the inconveniences during the shutdown period.
