SAARTHI teams with eligible couples of Nyang village, Longleng District.
Longleng, April 1 (MExN): SAARTHI Awareness on Wheel on Family Planning concludes in Longleng under Mission Pariwar Vikas was conducted by District Health Society Longleng on March 27 at Netnyu and Kangching and on April 1 at Nyang, Yongam, Oushok Hukphang and Pongching
A press release by media officer, CMO Longleng office stated that SAARTHI-Vehicle is a smartly designed vehicle equipped with IEC materials and Family planning commodities.
During this Awareness on Wheel, the SAARTHI team was led by DPM Viroli Sangtam, Block Program Manager of all 3 blocks under Longleng, Block ASHA Coordinators and Media officer.
DPM Viroli Sangtam gave counselling to all the eligible couples and sensitized them about family planning and to avail family planning services and choice of family planning its spacing methods where co uples could decide intervals for Pregnancies and number of children they want by using temporary methods, such as condoms copper T insertion and contraceptive pills followed by distribution of IEC materials, condoms and Oral Contraceptive pills.
