KOHIMA, MARCH 9 (MExN): The Nagaland Finance Department has concurred to the release of pending salaries, including arrears, up to the month of February 2014, to 1379 Hindi teachers appointed under Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS). In a letter to the Principal Director, Treasuries and Accounts, the Secretary for Finance, Y Kikheto Sema stated that this has been done following the receipt of Rs 16.53 Crores from the Government of India, for the said purpose. However, he directed that no further payment is to be made beyond the stated period until further instructions, since the fund is received only for the aforementioned period.
