Zunheboto, November 9 (DIPR): Satakha Area Sports and Cultural Association (SASCA) organised a cultural meet cum pre-Ahuna celebration on November 9 at Public Ground, Satakha. Minister, National Highway and Political Affairs, G. Kaito Aye graced the occasion as chief guest. While extending cooperation to the SASCA, Minister Kaito said, “Nagas in general needs a good platform to promote various activities to promote our culture and also to let younger generation understands and protect our identity.” He lauded SASCA for being far sighted in promoting various activities and exhorted this should set an example to other neighbouring areas and towns to promote our culture and act as an agent of change.
Hotovi Zhimo, GB, Khukiye Lukhai presented Ahuna Saqhi while welcome address was delivered by President, SASCA, Er. Kughashe Zhimo. As part of the celebration, competitions on various cultural activities were performed and were awarded with cash prizes.
