SJC (A) alumni signs MOU with Pioneer Institute

Alumni Association of St Joseph College (Autonomous) Jakhama entered into a joint Memorandum of Understanding with Pioneer Institute on July 14.

Jakhama, July 15 (MExN): In an effort to promote educational opportunities and support students in need, the Alumni Association of St Joseph College (Autonomous) Jakhama has entered into a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Pioneer Institute, an institute based in Kohima, Nagaland. The MOU signing ceremony took place on July 14 at SJC (A) Jakhama, stated a press release received here. 

Under this agreement, both institutions have committed to providing financial assistance in the form of 100% scholarships for a Computer Certificate Course. These scholarships will be awarded annually to one deserving student from each department of SJC (A), based on their financial need and meritorious condition. 

Additionally, the MOU stipulates that students from SJC (A) will be eligible for a 33% discount on other courses offered by Pioneer Institute, further enhancing the accessibility of quality education for the students. 

The MOU was exchanged between Peter Vizo, President of the Alumni Association of SJC (A), and Kiviboto Sheqi, Managing Director of Pioneer Institute Kohima. The signing ceremony was also attended by Fr Dr Keduolhou Angami, Principal SJC (A). This collaboration between the Alumni Association of SJC (A), Pioneer Institute, and St. Joseph College (Autonomous) Jakhama aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students and create opportunities for their academic and professional growth. It highlights the commitment of both institutions to empower students and promote excellence in education
