MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, Leader NPF Legislature Party, called upon the student to stand up and fight against corruption and unwarranted activities in the state.

Addressing the cultural session of the 77th general conference of the Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) on February 1 at Losami village, he urged the CSU to come forward and protect the welfare of the students community.

Further, he stressed on the need promulgate and continue to pursue the Naga political issue till sovereignty is achieved.

During cultural session, CSU units competed in folk song (Quartet) Competition for Lt. Niesatsii Khamo Memorial Trophy and Folk Dance competition for Lt. Zekope Krome Memorial Trophy.

Lirhonnthung Kitha, president Lotha Students’ Union shared greetings.

Obituary reference was made by CSU social & culture secretary Vekhosii C. Nyekha.

The session was chaired by CSU former general secretary Ngapunyi Albert Krocha.

Later, Phek deputy commissioner Kuko Mero graced the felicitation- cum- theme session as felicitation guest.

The theme speaker was Dr. Medongoi Rhakho, Deputy Director, Higher Education, Government of Nagaland and Divito Vese as moderator.

The session witnessed the presentation of Lt. Goyiepra Kenye Meritorious Award. Achievers speech was delivered by Er. Manu Chiero. The theme session was chaired by CSU speaker Weneizo Mero.
