Wokha, July 19 (MExN): The Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Y Patton and the Cabinet Ministers and Advisors had inaugurated three Subsidiary Health Centres and a village gate at 37 Tyui constituency under Wokha district on July 19.
The three Sub-Centres of Old Riphyim, Yikhum and Nungying villages were inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Y Patton, Minister for Health & Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom and Minister for PHED, Jacob Zhimomi respectively, Media Cell, Dy CMO stated in a press release.
Dy CM speaking at the inauguration said that the creation of Sub-Centres would now facilitate in improving the health care facilities of the areas. He also thanked the minister for H& FW for the creation of the Sub-Centres and bringing development in health sector, particularly in his constituency.
The village gate at New Riphyim was inaugurated by Temjen Imna Along, Minister and State BJP President. He told the gathering to cooperate and support the Dy CM to bring more development for the benefit of the people, while encouraging the people and party workers to sensitize and carry out the BJP membership drive sincerely as BJP, is one of the largest National political party in India and is pro- people and not anti Christian party.
Minister Health and Family Welfare S Pangnyu Phom also visited the PHC, Englan and interacted with officials of Medical department during which they apprised him of the problems faced by PHC Englan that they are running PHC office in MO quarter due to the lack of office building, for which he assured to look into the matter. Pangyu, also while inaugurating the Yikhum Sub-Centre, encouraged the villagers to take ownership and take care of the Centre with a sense of ownership.
Minister for PHED Jacob Zhimomi who inaugurated the Sub-Centre at Nungying, in his short speech said that through the initiatives and under the dynamic leadership of Dy. CM and BLP leader Y. Patton, the long cherished dreams of the villagers has come into reality.
The Deputy Chief Minister was accompanied by Ministers, Temjen Imna Along, S Pangnyu Phom, Jacob Zhimomi, Kashiho Sangtam, Advisors Dr. Longrineken, Tovihito Ayemi, Kazheto Kinimi, Khehovi and Principal Secretary and Commissioner, Nagaland M. Patton IAS and host of Officers and department officials.
