Sumi Hoho reasserts agreed Zbto ceasefire

Dimapur, July 17 (MExN): The Sumi Hoho has reaffirmed its stand on the June 14 Zunheboto ceasefire agreement signed between the NSCN (IM) and the NSCN (K) and cautioned that any faction breaching the agreement would lose the support of the public. “The Sumi Hoho under any circumstances upholds the agreements signed by the representatives of the two NSCN factions on 14th June, 2006, Zunheboto which reads: “to cease factional clashes in Sumi-inhabited areas in any form with a view to explore the possibility of peace and reconciliation. In the event of breach by any faction, shall lose the cooperation of Sumi general public” a release from President, HS Rotokha and General Secretary Aheto V Yepthomi, stated.
