Tuensang, September 19 (MExN): The Excel Naga FC, Adonis FC, Keiyang XI FC and 40th Assam Rifles today won their respective matches at the ongoing 2nd edition of the Tuensang District Football Association (TDFA) Cup 2018 at Parade Ground Tuensang on September 19.
In the first match, Excel Naga FC produced a 2-1 win over Leipzig Stars FC with Khumpi (4) and Bei (6) finding the net for the team in the 21st and 30th minute respectively. The lone goal from Leipzig came in the 19th minute through Apong (15).
Adonis FC blanked Sonic Strikers FC by 1-0 in the second match with a solitary goal by Khonimongko (7) in the 29th minute.
In the third match Keiyang XI FC defeated Homers FC 1-0 goal with N Wongto (9) scoring for the team in the first half.
In the last match of the day, the 40th Assam Rifles team scored an emphatic 2-0 win over Mohican Boys by 2-0 goals. The goals for 40th AR were scored by Niuthang (12) at the start of the match (2nd minute) while Lr. Hmar (6) netted the second goal for the team in the 54th minutes.
