Dimapur, October 21 (MExN): Trailblazer Society celebrated its 10th anniversary with a family get-together at JP Park & Banquets, Naga United Village, on October 20, reflecting on its decade-long journey and recognising the contributions of its founding office-bearers.
The programme began with games and recreational activities for children, members and their spouses, led by Arenkala and Akumtola Jamir. The formal session, chaired by Tiameren Alingri, included a tribute to deceased members Tiameren Amri and Imlitemsu Changkiri.
Er Sungti Amer, retired Assistant Chief Engineer and member of the Board of Governors and Finance Committee of NIT Chümoukedima, attended as the special guest. He congratulated the Society on completing a decade and cited the Changki–Tai Ahom Cultural Connect 2026 as an example of its initiatives. He also encouraged parents to nurture their children’s potential without imposing their own aspirations on them, while adapting to an increasingly technology-driven world.
Jentysen Tzudir, in a tribute, recalled the Society’s growth from a group of 30 founding members and acknowledged the dedication and sacrifices that shaped the organisation. She urged younger members to carry its vision forward and senior members to pass on their responsibilities to the next generation.
Senior member Sentiningsang Longkumer, delivering the exhortation, emphasised that meaningful legacy comes from contributing to society rather than merely accumulating achievements and possessions.
The Society felicitated its first office-bearers for their service from 2016 to 2025: Dr Temjennungsang Longchari, Chairperson; Rejosanen Longchari, Secretary; and Limasunep Tzudir, Finance Secretary.
The programme concluded with a fellowship dinner, informed a press release from the Society.
