Tuensang, August 5 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, has issued a notification regarding the acquisition of land along NH-202 for a road widening project. The land in question spans from Km 39 to Km 106.650 and includes sections at 118 Km and 120 Km within Tuensang District. The project aims to expand the existing single-lane road into a two-lane road with paved shoulders. The Deputy Commissioner, designated as the Competent Authority by the State Government, has informed that any claims or objections regarding the land acquisition must be submitted to the office within 10 days from August 5. Residents and landowners within the affected area have been urged to file their claims or objections within the stipulated time.
