WENN, SIDBI conduct business governance workshops

Dimapur, May 31 (MExN): The Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN), in collaboration with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), conducted a series of one-day Business Governance Workshops for women entrepreneurs in Kiphire, Noklak, Shamator and Tuensang districts from May 19 to 29.

According to a press release, the workshops were organised as part of WENN’s district-wise initiative to strengthen entrepreneurial capacity and promote sustainable business growth among women entrepreneurs in Nagaland.

The sessions focused on business compliance and documentation, covering topics such as trade licensing, FSSAI certification, Udyam registration, financial literacy, skill development and government schemes available to support entrepreneurs.

The workshops aimed to simplify regulatory processes and provide participants with practical knowledge to formalise, strengthen and expand their businesses.

Women entrepreneurs from the four districts participated in the programme and engaged in discussions on business development and compliance requirements.

WENN expressed appreciation to the district administrations and stakeholders for supporting the workshops and reaffirmed its commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs across Nagaland.
