ZSUN holds 1st executive meeting

Dimapur, August 26 (MExN): The Zeme Students' Union Nagaland held its 1st Central Executive Meeting cum Planning for the academic year 2018-19 on August 24 at Nsong town.


The union, in its meeting resolved to check Inner Line Permit (ILP) under its jurisdiction as per the direction given by the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF), a release from the union officials informed. “Stringent action will be undertaken by the union on the defaulters if the local people are found sheltering or protecting immigrants,” it observed.


It further expressed concern over the tense situation under the Nsong-Kebai area and therefore appealed the concerned authorities to take “necessary prevention for safety of the people which may worsen the situation any time.”


Earlier, the meeting was chaired by Amua Francis Pame, Vice President, ZSUN and Deichungbe Zeme, General Secretary recorded the meeting minutes. 27 leaders from ten units attended the meeting.
