Kohima, March 1 (MExN): The Department of Agriculture organized farewell programme in honour of its retiring officers Imtitemjen L, Additional Director and N.Thungjamo Lotha, Additional Director at Directorate Conference Hall on February 28.
G. Ikuto Zhimomi incoming Director of Agriculture chaired the programme. He expressed happiness and congratulated the two retiring additional directors of the Department. He also lauded them for their valuable contribution at various levels during their entire service career in the Department.
Dr. Elithung Lotha, Director of Horticulture stated that attending 35 years of service is a big achievement in one’s life journey.
L. Butang Khiam. Jt. Director gave the farewell speech on behalf of the Department and N. Henry Zeliang, Jt. Director read out the service profile of the retiring officers. Bendanglila, Jt Director of Agriculture and other officers also spoke during the function.
The chairman of the programme pronounced the vote of thanks and concluded with mass spoken prayer and benediction by Medovilie Ladu, Dy Director.
