BJP candidate for 1 Dimapur – I A/C, Tovihoto Ayemi has said that his priority would be for peace, progress, prosperity, and development.
Speaking at his candidature declaration programme at DDSC Stadium on Monday, Tovihoto said he had joined the BJP to lead the people towards a brighter future seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Recalling the instability of the NPF-led DAN government during the last five years with no proper time for governance, the candidate said that the BJP with strong numbers would ensure a stable government.
BJP being the largest political party in the world, the party would ensure a strong government to look into the welfare of the people, he added, and appealed the voters to support him through their valuable votes.
State BJP Election Campaigning Convenor, H.K Khulu said, “BJP will be in the ruling party in any case and the next five years will be better for the State.” He appealed the voters to cast their franchise in favour of BJP candidate, Tovihoto Ayemi.
A host of speakers including former NPF President of 1 Dimapur – I A/C, L.R. Anthony; former DMC Councillor, Kuhoi Zhimo; BJP Dimapur President, Bendang; BJP Dimapur leader, Rosy Yanthan and others also addressed the gathering.
