CCTV cameras installed at three locations in Chümoukedima

Chümoukedima, October 6 (MExN): CCTV cameras have been installed at three locations in Chümoukedima town as part of efforts to strengthen surveillance and public safety, according to the Chümoukedima Chamber of Commerce and Trade Association (CCC&TA).

In a press release on October 6, the CCC&TA said the cameras would enable monitoring of high-traffic areas and could assist authorities in responding to incidents. The association also said the installation had contributed to a greater sense of safety among residents and travellers.

The CCC&TA acknowledged the role of Aotula T Imchen, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, in the initiative, and appreciated the efforts of Rupin Sharma, IPS, DGP Nagaland, and the Police Department.

The association called for regular maintenance of the CCTV network and its expansion, where required, while emphasising continued cooperation between the police and the community to strengthen public safety in Chümoukedima
