DC Mon reiterates ban on home tuition

Mon, July 3 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Mon, Thavaseelan K reported that there have been instances where some school teachers are still conducting home tuitions for the students at their private residences during the lockdown period. 


“Such actions are in total contravention of the lockdown rules and regulations notified by the Government and are strictly prohibited,” the DC Stated while reiterating to “immediately stop such practices and anyone found violating this order will be penalized under relevant provisions of the law.”


Meanwhile, with a view to contain possible transmission and spread of the Coronavirus through wet market and slaughter houses especially those dealing with fresh meat, poultry and raw fish, all the persons engaged in such trades within Mon Town are directed to collect all the waste/fluid in a designated place and sanitize the same. “Any traders violating the norms or guidelines will be penalized with Rs 500 per offence,” the SDO (C), Administration, Mon stated in a circular issued on July 1.
