Kohima, October 10 (MExN): The Directorate of School Education (DoSE) concluded a four-day in-house training on office procedures and service rules for Upper and Lower Division Assistants (UDAs/LDAs) of Government Higher Secondary and High Schools.
The programme was held from October 6 to 9, 2026 and attended by 65 participants.
S. Imkongsenla, Assistant Director of DoSE, chaired the inaugural session, followed by a keynote address from Deenabandhu Panda (Addl. Director DoSE) emphasizing the vital role of updated administrative practices in education.
Expert resource persons- Andreas Lotha (Rtd. Deputy Secretary), Raymond Vizo (S.A.) and L. Yemertetba (Under Secretary, P. & A.R.) led comprehensive technical sessions.
Topics covered included the Nagaland Education Service Rules 2017, APAR, Service Books and Personal Files, Leave Rules, Noting and Drafting, File Management, Accounts, PIMS, the SMILE app, and TAMS.
At the closing ceremony, Razouseyi Vese, Director of DoSE urged the staff to diligently apply their newly acquired skills to improve administrative efficiency in their respective schools.
