Here are all the important details you need to know about Maruti Suzuki S-Presso
This is one aspect that always interests people. The price. More so in India. As soon as people hear about a new vehicle, they inquire about its price. Maruti Suzuki S Presso is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new S Presso will challenge Renault Kwid facelift and Datsun Redi-Go. Don't be surprised if the mini-SUV eats into the market share of Maruti Suzuki Alto K10.
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso will be powered by a BS6-compliant, 68 hp, 1.0-litre petrol engine. The motor will be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional AGS (Auto Gear Shift).
There will be four variants available in S-Presso. They are Std, LXi, VXi and VXi+.
The new S-Presso will have a length of 3,665 mm. Its width will be 1,520 mm and wheelbase 2,380 mm. The height will be 1,549 mm with 13-inch wheels, while it will be slightly higher at 1,564 mm with 14-inch wheels. The vehicle will have a gross weight of 1,170 kg.
We have already seen S Presso and know how it looks. There are newly-designed headlamps along with body-coloured bumpers and ORVMs. You might see a slight resemblance between the grilles of S-Presso and Vitara Brezza. The rear looks sporty with the reflectors placed below the smartly-designed tail-lights.
The mini-SUV gets a digital instrument cluster, which is centrally located above the Smartplay Studio touchscreen infotainment system. There is a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with controls for music and calls.
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso comes with standard features like ABS with EBD, driver side airbag, reverse parking sensor, speed alert system and driver and co-driver seat belt reminder.
