Rajya Sabha MP S Phangnon Konyak during her visit to the Senior Citizens Home and KBBB De-addiction Centre in Mon as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
Mon, October 6 (MExN): Rajya Sabha MP and BJP National Secretary S Phangnon Konyak visited the Senior Citizens Home and the KBBB De-addiction Centre in Mon as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
At the Senior Citizens Home, Konyak interacted with the residents and enquired about their well-being, while listening to their stories and experiences. She said caring for and honouring the elderly was a shared responsibility and acknowledged their wisdom and life experiences.
At the KBBB De-addiction Centre, she interacted with persons undergoing rehabilitation and encouraged them in their efforts towards recovery. She stressed the importance of staying free from addiction and contributing positively to society, while reaffirming the commitment towards a “Nasha Mukt Bharat.”
The visits were held under the theme “Seva Mera Yogdan”, with focus on care for senior citizens, rehabilitation and community responsibility.
