Peren/Pfutsero, September 15 (MExN): Annual physical verification of pensioners will be conducted in Peren and Pfutsero in October, with pensioners advised to complete the required formalities within the stipulated schedules.
According to information issued through the State DIPR, the Senior Treasury Office, Peren will conduct circle-wise verification from October 12 to 14 at the Treasury Office, Peren. Pensioners from Tening Circle will be verified on October 12; those from Jalukie, Ngwalwa and Athibung on October 13; and those from Peren Circle on October 14.
Pensioners attending the verification are required to produce a certified copy of the Life Certificate, Pensioner ID Card, Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook and two passport-size photographs. In cases of discrepancies in name or date of birth between Aadhaar and the PPO Book, a Birth Certificate as per the PPO and an affidavit declaring the name issued by a first-class Magistrate may also be required.
Meanwhile, the Sub-Treasury Office, Pfutsero will conduct its annual physical verification from October 7 to 9, between 10 am and 3 pm.
Verification will be conducted according to pension serial numbers: life pensioners Sl. Nos. 1–200 and family pensioners 1–50 on October 7; life pensioners 201–400 and family pensioners 51–250 on October 8; and life pensioners 401 onwards and family pensioners 251 onwards on October 9.
Pfutsero pensioners have been advised to produce their PPO Book, Life/Family Verification Certificate verified by a gazetted officer, Aadhaar and passport copies, Bank Passbook and renewed Pension ID.
The Office has cautioned that there will be no extension beyond the stipulated verification period and that pension payments will not be entertained for unverified pensioners.
According to the State DIPR, officials at both locations informed that pensioners who have registered on the Jeevan Pramaan portal, generated a Digital Life Certificate (DLC), and successfully mapped it with the respective pension payment/treasury application will be exempted from physical verification and submission of the Life/Family Verification Form.
