The Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS), Health & Family Welfare Department today informed that PM-JAY CMHIS Nagaland will continue delivery of cashless services to beneficiaries despite technical challenges.
Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) and Chief Minister's Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) in Nagaland has ushered in a new policy period effective April 1, 2024, operating under the Insurance Mode, the Society said.
“However, the implementation has encountered intermittent technical issues within the National Health Authority (NHA) IT Portal for CMHIS (EP),” NHPS CEO Thavaseelan K stated in a press release.
While all efforts are underway to resolve the issues promptly, empanelled hospitals have been directed to submit offline registrations and preauthorisation requests along with all necessary documents by email to SHA and Claim Processing team of the Insurance Company to ensure seamless service delivery till the portal issues are resolved, it added.
Further, all empanelled hospitals have been directed to continue delivery of cashless services to beneficiaries, failing which necessary disciplinary actions as per the provision of the Contract will be initiated against erring EHCPs.
Beneficiaries have been requested to immediately approach the contact points - 8880515011/ 8880515012/ 8880515013/ 8880515014- if any empanelled hospitals refused cashless benefits.
