3rd PG Graduation Day at Sazolie College on September 15.
Kohima, September 15 (MExN): Sazolie College, Phezhu, Jotsoma, held its 3rd Postgraduate Graduation Day for the Class of 2026 at Vineizono Hall on September 15.
The ceremony recognised the academic achievements of the graduating postgraduate students. Vice Principal Waloniba Jamir, in his welcome address, described graduation as a significant new beginning and encouraged the graduates to carry forward the lessons learned at the college, with emphasis on moral values and integrity.
Academic Dean Dr Puspanjoli D Nakhro presented the academic report and congratulated the graduating students on their achievements.
Five students were recognised with the Management Toppers Award, comprising a citation and monetary reward, for their performance in university rankings. They were Chingnunmoi Guite (MA Political Science), who secured a CGPA of 8.50 and Rank 5; Keneisanuo Miario (MA History), CGPA 8.25 and Rank 3; Oreno K Yanthan (MA History), CGPA 7.97 and Rank 4; Libah Phom (MA History), CGPA 7.86 and Rank 5; and Talitemsula (MA History), CGPA 7.76 and Rank 8.
Valedictory addresses were delivered by Keneisanuo Miario and Chingnunmoi Guite. Reflecting on their academic journeys, they spoke about their experiences, challenges and the support received from faculty members, while highlighting the close-knit learning environment and individual attention at the college.
In the commencement address, Principal Dr Gopal Chetri stressed the importance of higher education and encouraged the graduates to maintain self-belief and approach future personal and professional challenges with a resilient and positive outlook, informed a press release from the college.
