Kohima, February 12 (MExN): The Angami Sports Association’s (ASA) 48th Wrestling Meet will be held on February 15 and 16 at Khuochiezie (Local Ground), Kohima. The event is being organised by ASA with the Angami Christian Revival Youth Association (ACRYA) entrusted charge of ground management in aid of its Golden Jubilee. 60 strong wrestlers from the constituent units of ASA comprising of NASA, CASA, WASA and SASA, will be competing for a total prize money of Rs. 4.10 lakhs, a press release from the ACRYA informed. The 48th ASA Wrestling Meet, organisers say, is expected to be much more exciting than preceding events as young and first time wrestlers with distinct tactics and strategies have already booked their place in the mega wrestling event. Tickets for the competition are available with ACRYA, its constituent churches and units spread across Angami area and the capital Kohima city. Tickets are priced at Rs. 2000 for donors, Rs. 500 for chair, and Rs. 100 for gallery. Meanwhile, the management committee has called upon all concerned committees, leaders and members of ACRYA to turn up and participate at the social work on February 13 from 10:00 am onwards compulsorily.
