‘Knitted together in Christ’

NPBCA annual general council underway

Dimapur, January 13 (MExN): Nagaland Police Baptist Churches Association (NPBCA) began its 29th Annual General Council programme under the theme ‘Knitted together in Christ’ (Colossians 2:2) at PBC 9th NAP (IR) Bn. Saijang on January 12.  

The act of opening the Annual General Council was performed by Rev. Dr. Hukashe Zhimomi, Executive Secretary, NPBCA, informed a press release from Pusuinla Longkumer, Women Secretary, NPBCA.

  Z. Anchees Odyuo, Deputy Commandant in his greetings conveyed to the members to carry forward good memories of 9th NAP Bn., 9th NAP (IR) Saijang. “Being knitted together in Christ, we should continue to work for the weak and needy and serve God faithfully,” he stated.  

A. Temsu, NPBCA president and pastor of 14th NAP (IR) Bn, delivered the message based on the theme. “Our heart should be knitted together in order to encourage one another,” he told the congregation, adding “We need to have true fellowship.” Temsu further urged them to work together for common goal and walk together.  

Rakho, NPBCA vice president & pastor, PUBC led the opening service, Toshi, pastor, PBC 10th NAP (IR) Bn pronounced the invocation, while Rukuveyi Nienu, pastor, PBC 9th NAP (IR) Saijang delivered the welcome address. Benediction was pronounced by Banwang Konyak, pastor, PBC, Mon.  

The event will conclude on January 14.
