A fervent appeal to the NBCC

Honourable. Dedicated theologians of all ages and the revered persons that summed-up the teams of NBCC.

First of all, I would like to thank God our creator who is in heaven for giving me the wisdom to write this note to give you some advice and suggestions, so be please bear it and take up if it is so and if not criticize me.

You see, the present scenario of our state ‘Nagaland’ the land that so called ‘Nagaland for Christ’ of course, it is so much deserved for we have been convert it to Christianity from an very awkward state called the Head Hunter’s and Idol worshippers for we were non-believers of God during our fore-fathers time but now, after attaining the Baptist Christianity through the help of evangelist Gothula from Assam and the American Missionary Rev Dr. E W Clark since 18th century where are we heating for now at present?

Now let me say these few points of advice & suggestion with an fervent appeal to implement it. Firstly, you NBCC is the No. 1 (first) among the (whole) apex body organization/association of the state (if not permitted) you should claim it to be the No.1 apex body for it is a land of Christianity with 99% Christian population and moreover you NBCC comprises only from the Theological institute Graduates/Qualified Scholars & Reverends who dedicate their life to serve God by learning and obeying his teachings from the Holy Bible to help the people from going in Evils way to refrain and come forward in the right path by means of preaching his words and teaching his gospels and songs of praises. So, you should be the first and lead from the front in all the activities (leaders comes & go) but now, who ever may be there, come on lead it, as you are the parents, you are the government, your are the national workers for Christ, you are the citizen of the state, you deserve all this for you are the dedicated servant of God and God with you whom you are to be afraid of you exercise it and initiate it all the affairs of the state of the people of Nagaland the children of God, for as of now in today’s situations without your involvement physically in full swing our present state of affairs is in a very bad shape where there is full of evil things hovering in the sky of our state Nagaland. Such as killings among own Christian brothers and sisters murder and rapes, abduction for ransom, theft corruption in the government which is very far beyond controllable, nepotism, favoritism, tribalism, (so far not so serious due to the good works doing by the tribal Hoho’s) alcoholism. Drug addicts, adultery, that which land us also in prime position of world most dreaded disease HIV/AIDS all this are rampantly increased in this beautiful God gifted Nagaland by the Satan’s power, what a sad things that let it happened, will our God be also happy ‘No’ he will be very sad and pain to see all this things that are doing by his loving children. So I really request you to come forward with Armour of God and dealt it accordingly without any tear instead of just praying in the church and at home, you can go even to the battle field wrapping your vehicle by white cloths with Cross in your hand and sounding through loud speakers announcing of your identity and supervise it through Christian manner, you can even call upon the politicians of all groups/party and advice them if they are not heading straight as per peoples aspirations and correct them you can call upon all the wrong doers such as robbers betrayers, boozers, adulterers conspirators, manipulators etc. so please think it very seriously.

Secondly the present hottest topic is between you (NBCC) and the government/people against the (NLTP ACT 1989 of course, it is an great achievement on your part by prohibiting the open sale of alcohol and declaring it totally as wet-set in India for you’ve observed it that alcohol is the root cause of all evils and so you (NBCC) have even fast unto death during Dr. S C Jamir Ex CM. Congress government regime in 1989 and let it pass its bill in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (Congratulations belated). But something lack behind on your part that lead it occurs this today as a serious topic about the NLTOP Acts 1989 (for I am very sorry to say it is a failure not totally but…..) because let me cite some reasons. We people (Nagas) are baldy addicted to alcohol who knows maybe from our traditional and cultural customs since time immemorial from our fore-fathers that we take/consume alcohol in all our festivities, of course, I don’t say everybody but majority takes alcohol/wine and so it is going on and on and hard to give-up. Of-course, you have success in your programme/demand but you are not implementing it and streamlining it, you just left it aside to the government agency to look after it. That is why so many loopholes have cropped-up like smugglers and bootleggers who are very much alive universally who wait for this kind of opportunity to prosper their business by hook or by crook, and they smugglers and bootleggers too have succeed it as you are (NBCC) while they are implementing it their business very seriously through so many ways and means by bringing in adulterated spurious alcohol by a lesser amount and selling it by double or triple of that amount and so they are blossoming it their business by leaps and bound. And we the Nagas people consumers are loser on both wealth and health and this (Alcohol) who could not afford it go after narcotics the (Drugs) of so many kinds upto the extent of sniffing dendrite too. So, is it not a problem? Come on, don’t be so idle to it as per your profession as an dedicated/loyal to God person because since we are all human beings and to whom we should hide. We all knows and see what is facing and going on in our surrounding of this social menace, (unwanted things) lets talk about only alcohol now. Being declared as dry/wet alcohol state. But we can find it and get it even in a few meters away from the church the Holy Gods place too. Not all but in most of the areas in towns and cities are we all not to feel ashamed of it to the tourists from foreign countries and the central Indian people and its official as of these days in the space-age the world is going on globalizing into a smaller one through highly technological advancement and becoming more unifying through culture and tourism exchange activities and so it throngs the foreigners too from all over the world in small state also. So my advice is please don’t be so idle awake, and associate it with the people and perform the right of Christian duty. Actually, just after the prohibition bill was pass you should have made an resolution of strict conduct of total prohibition as in the manner of total destruction of all bars and g0-down for-ever and to keep on strict vigil by giving an clarion call through the churches in every nook and corner of the state to render the voluntary service of every citizen in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that to Mann the check-post in every border in collaboration with the civil administration, police and excise department to check the inflow of alcohol and also drugs through rotation wise of every citizen from the cities, towns, (colony wise) and also in the villages too (khel wise) as a service to God. So, who will not agree, I hope everyone will agree being doing a small job for God as a Christian will do it to render his service very proudly and since that too rotational basic only for everybody and if somebody from the churches say even pastor/pastress and deacons led the team it will be even good enough for we can check the vehicles by means of frisking alcohol and drugs and finally say a word or two from the Holy Bible and bade them save journey with a prayer then the passengers/travelers from every places will be happy enough and say about our Nagaland’s image and goodwill. But since this is not done, try it prayerfully.

Finally, in our state so many theological colleges has sprout-up and in it so many theological students of our own soil are studying and graduating and also studying in other parts of the world too. So it is a good sign that our own Nagas children are following the God’s foot-steps but where is their future where will they be accommodated/land since there are about 25 to 30 colleges or maybe more if I am not mistaken. So from these colleges every year there might be atleast 400 to 500 nos of graduate. So what shall you and we do for the. Come on, will it not be wise to ask the state government to give in true Christian spirit to let it open an compulsory subject such as moral science and scriptures for the high schools and colleges and secondly in most importantly it will be much better if you abolish the induction of non theologians as Deacons in the churches who are middle man or government employee just see, how can a simple/common be a church deacon, because this post is not a matter of joke. The deacon are the priest’s who gave witness in the name of God. It will better if the theologians who is a learned person of Bible are inducted and even salaried them too if the church budget permit. But if it just goes on like this they too can be gone as astray through frustration after graduation. So, please seek it and do it prayerfully if it is the will of God.

With all this views and points advice and suggestion with my little knowledge I am submitting it my fervent appeal. There might be so much unwanted and hurting works too. But it is just personal feelings. So do please forgive me and give it back to me if not necessary.
