• With the time immoral the women are also taking active part in politics arena.
• Because we have seen in the recently 14th NLA Election, where 4 women contested in the 60 seats and won 2 seats which is 50 percent equal. Women are participating in high ranking officials and decision making in today's time.
• Women outshine in every competitive field this days.
No:
• Absolutely NOT. If women were respected equally in this aspect we would see atleast one woman candidate in each constituency fighting for the prize. However, our Naga Women are only looked at as a homemaker. Anything beyond their homes would be considered unwomanly, unwifely and unmotherly. Remembering one of the unfortunate incident in 2017 during the ULB Election with the 33% reservation. Nagaland was not in favour of the reservation for women and the elections were boycotted with the wholesome unity of everyone. However, some people being against the women reservation went out to the extreme lengths of saying that the intending women candidates were prostitutes and adulterers. Nobody stood against these words that were said. If a women's image can be so easily tarnished like that for just wanting to contest the elections, how can equal respect be expected for our women in any realm?????
• Menfolk Nagas are pretty good in preaching about equality of gender and hypocritically better in practice denying such privileges.
• Woman are considered as a care taker of households activities, where as men are giving free from those activities.
• The political socialization and political inclinations of the Nagas, combined with a patriarchal societal structure that undervalues the leadership capabilities of women at the grassroots level, serve as the starting point for addressing the issue. • No, when it comes to politics, women and men are not accorded the same level of respect. Naga society is full of contradictions and this is one of them. On one hand the Naga women are doing much better than the men when it comes to education and economics. But when it comes to politics, the Naga women are not accorded the same level of respect.
• Everyone knows the answer. It is a big no. Unfortunately we are not honest about it and we keep saying that men and women in Nagaland have equal rights. This is untrue.

• Respect is more of an individual matter rather than a collective one. Most people don't give respect to a whole group of people. They tend to give respect to individuals based on what virtues are seen. Even elders are not universally respected based on different factors (be it valid or invalid). If someone wants respect, then that person should live respectably. Demanding respect ironically yields less respect.
• Whether it is political or non-political you cannot get respect easily and moreover people getting respect just because they are officers, politicians, etc is just lame based on position. You can't demand respect because you are men, women, high officials, etc. Let me give an example, i don't exactly remember but am sure it must be during Women's day or eliminations against gender discrimination here in Nagaland, where in the placard it was written, "REAL MEN RESPECT WOMEN", now by reflecting on this, i would like to feel sorry for entire female folks because there is no "REAL MEN" according to the placard and also it definitely implies that if men don't treat women with respect then men are not men at all, and I WOULD TAG THIS AS SEXIST towards entire MALE and yes females of modern day can be sexist too ,, because females do need to understand the psychology of men and in general human beings. Since, its a human nature and instinct to reply unconsciously or consciously according to way people behave. And moreover if the statement was reversed along with gender i.e. "REAL WOMEN RESPECT MEN", THEN i am sure all hell will break loose.

• Well the respect for man is higher than Women in the political realm however women are also accorded respect and it is hopeful to gain more respect as women contribute to the society through the political realm.
• Really what’s going on between men and women hmm!!!! Well after reading the write ups in editorials and public spaces in this print media and along with ULB thing, it has shown the toxic nature of both gender, well not to be surprised but mostly feminist nature of women and some so called pro-female that is feminist men. Men and women should settled down maturely and wisely. At one hand the women and so called male feminist (ironically male feminist are equivalent to toxic nature of both men and women-they have toxic behaviors of both genders) always blames patriarchy(no wonder why matriarchy didn't exist dominantly in most world) and on other and men too need to leave some traditional rules and laws, not all but some. To the men and women who thinks women need to be everywhere, then also ask reservations for the post of electricians, drivers, plumbers, construction workers, fire fighters, whether private or government, etc because these fields can be also in decisions making indirectly too(sorry but almost all jobs by looking in overall conditions, it is male dominated).Do men complain and whine like baby if we know that nursing is female dominated, primary teachers, tailoring ,etc NO. Why making so much fuss about patriarchy and gender related thing. Let me suggest to all "naga' people focused on tackling on illegal immigrants, alcohol and drugs problem, mental problem caused by unemployment, so on and on and on......etc but please don't waste energy on delusional, imbecile, western entitlement (their life style and livelihood)related to gender equality(gender equality in western or in generally in developed countries is completely different from Nagaland context).Last but not the least highly developed countries such as in western and European, are becoming failures because of being too much liberal.
• This may be directly or indirectly related to this poll but By my common sense and also by referring from previous poll, someone gave an opinion on ULB election. Now, i have been wondering, it doesn’t matter to me whether ULB is reserved for women or not, because its similar to "ban of dogs controversy in Nagaland"
• Huh, the word respect has lost its meaning . Look at the newspaper write ups accusing only patriarchy will not work(in fact patriarchy itself is not toxic, it was hijack by feminist considering and assuming to be dangerous to society particularly to women- a statement taken out from JORDAN PETERSON) .The male feminist(they exist too) and female feminist tainted and twisted the word respect. 21st is a gender war.
