CS cautions heads of district offices

Kohima, May 29 (MExN): Citing reports that many heads of district offices are yet to report for duties in their respective district headquarters, Chief Secretary, Temjen Toy issued on order on May 29 directing Deputy Commissioners to report the names and designation and other details of officers who have not reported for duties.


“This is unacceptable amounting to willful disobedience of government orders. Disciplinary proceedings will be initiated against them,” the Chief Secretary’s order stated. 


Directing Deputy Commissioners to report the names and designation and other details of officers who are not present in their respective district headquarters, it stated that the report should reach the Chief Secretary by 3:00 pm, on June 1.
