DIMAPUR, MAY 1 (MExN): A ‘directive’ from the Home Department notwithstanding, the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) elected its president on Sunday, May 1. Former president, Kasheto Yeptho was proposed and elected following a more than two-hour long general body meeting today, held at the Durga Mandir Hall, Old Daily Market. Yeptho informed after the meeting that the rest of the office bearers of the DCCI will be elected at a later date. The meeting, called by the members of the drafting committee of the DCCI’s now adopted constitution, was attended by the committee’s members and a host of representatives from the business community of Dimapur.
