Dear Readers, these are some suggestion on practical and concrete measures on how the Clean Election Movement in Nagaland can be strengthened:

•    There is no concrete measure, everybody is bought and those who aren't, are powerless! Nagaland has no future, and everybody knows this but too afraid to admit.

•    Bans Camp, mess, bans visiting by candidates & supporters to the village/colony. Make check gate prohibiting entry. Only one day common platform for all candidates.

•    Let the election propaganda without processions, tv radio channels broadcast of contesters and finally no pasting of banners and hoardings.

•    Top to bottom approach is the right way…… we should all encourage clean candidates (there is a difference between encouraging and campaigning). Too much disparity in Naga society so bottom to up approach will not be possible

•    Use of CVIGIL APP and report ... It will strengthen clean election movement

•    It is a people's movement. The success of the movement depends on an individual decision to follow.

•    Literacy rate of Nagaland is too high that we tend to ignore the rate of educated population. So, how many schools/parents/ elders give the knowledge of how Election will affect the whole System or the System itself? Apart from the 'Universal adult franchise' or 'Clean election', the mere citizens don't know the System. Time has come or may be late enough that we should realise how every individual is important (not only for their vote) that we all deserve a good Governance. High time for Nagas to be Rational.

•    Therefore, biometric device can only change the system. Or else trying to implement clean election will be just like trying to implement NLTP Act in Nagaland. Sad reality

•    Educate the public regarding the Election Process in Nagaland. 90% of Nagas do not know the real meaning of election. Since, we are born and brought up in a time when election is regarded as something which is a season for drinking/partying/getting free money/fighting/, the people of NAGALAND regards election as dirty and cheap. Shouting slogans and prayer just during the time of election won't work much. I'm not against prayer or campaigning for clean election but my simple suggestion is "Educate the People of NAGALAND about election, one year ahead before the Election" I'm not talking about educating simply for the sake of it but, every Naga irrespective of educated or uneducated must be well informed. Only this can bring a change to the electioneering system. Or else, the system will only get worst

•    Clean election has nothing to do with technology, the mindset of the people has to embrace the very word Clean Election and that's not only pertaining to assembly election but even at the grassroots selection / election of village councils and local bodies. senitisation of the people's mindset is the need of the hour ,if people are farsighted on clean elections , technology will follow suit coz it's the people who will be handling the techs and devices .It's high time public speeches are mandated on the intending candidates to see their leadership compatibility .Just my thoughts.

•    Education

•    Almost 50 percent of the voters are bogus voters in Nagaland, so even if all the voters agree with one man one vote, the system will be still corrupt because the rich candidate will easy buy that 50 percent bogus votes and win for his next 5 years.

•    Voting through some kind of app with authentication like OTP or Biometric system will be the best option.

•    Forced clean election is not Clean Election

•    Unless biometric attendance is implemented, proxy votes will continue.

•    Too much interference of top govt officers bureaucrats, businessman contractors and big shoots spoils the electioneering system in Nagaland who plays politics for their own personal benefit through money superseding clean election.

•    Educate at the grassroots

•    By making Joel Naga as our CM, GB Kahuto as finance minister, Akavi as home minister and M Khat as higher and technical education minister.

•    Demonize vote selling/bribery

•    It is the mindset of the people

•    If all the frontal organisation such as HOHOs, GBs, Mothers Associations, Students bodies, etc make a separate Law on election, then, that would be better.
