Dimapur, September 22 (MExN): The Department of Power, office of the Dimapur Electrical Division has informed that it will be carrying out raid and disconnection drive for non-payment of electricity bills and all other illegal activities like meter tampering and hooking for all categories of consumers within its jurisdiction.
“...without further notice, use will be continued on a daily basis till new directives or order in this regard,” Dimapur Electrical Division, Executive Engineer, Y Akito Sema stated in the disconnection notice issued on Wednesday.
Therefore, consumers are advised to pay their electricity bill within the stipulated time in order to avoid any inconveniences. In case of any discrepancies/grievances regarding the electricity bill, they are requested to visit the office of the respective SDO (E) NO-I, II, III for clarification/correction/rectification at the earliest.
