District Mental Health Programme (DMHP), Kohima celebrated World Mental Health Day on the theme ‘mental health in an unequal world’ at Good Samaritan Old Age Home, Kohima. Veronica Nriame, PSW, DMHP shared the activities and services carried out by DMHP; special number was presented by residents of the home; while Ketousenuo Phewhuo, Clinical Psychologist, DMHP spoke on the theme. Elderly Help Line team highlighted the activities. DMHP team also conducted screening and mental health check-up for the elders with provided free supply of medicine. DMHP collaborated with AIR Kohima to reach out to the maximum number of people including grassroots communities.
