DIMAPUR, APRIL 13 (MExN): Four Naga Political Groups (NPGs) comprising of the NSCN/GPRN (Khango), NSCN/GPRN-R (Akato), Z Royim led NNC (PB) and NPGN NNC/NA (MK) held a meeting on April 12, 2024, and unanimously resolved to form the common platform under one umbrella as “Naga National Political Alliance” (NNPA).
According to a press note issued by the MIP of NSCN/GPRN, this new platform has been formed “in the larger interest of the Naga people and to determine the future political aspiration of the Nagas.”
The collective leadership from the four NPGs have mutually agreed and “desire to work together and to pursue the political dialogue under one platform with the Government of India, towards achieving permanent solution to the protracted Naga political imbroglio,” the press note stated.
