Kohima, April 4 (MExN): The Grand Vista Arena Group had organized its 1st Open Badminton Tournament from April 1 to 2 in aid of Gospel Crusade “Festival of Joy November 2022” under the theme, “Be your best” at the Grand Vista Arena, Badminton Stadium, Meriema. Er Theruovituo Pienyu, executive engineer, Municipal Affairs Department and Smart City graced the occasion as the special guest. The tournament witnessed more than 140 badminton players across the state.

• Men's Double (Beginners): Winner- Manio Chakre & Maseu Kauring; Runner-Up- Kuovizo & Atuolie
• Men's Single (Amateur): Winner- Tekarenba Longchar; Runner Up- Sewang Wangsa
• Men's Double (Amateur): Winner- Tongpangmeren & Pusutemjen; Runner-Up- Anahito Ayemi & Ikato Assumi
• Men's Double (40+): Winner- Sabou Yashu & Nochet; Runner-Up- Raju Chetri & Kaisung
