Kohima, April 11 (MExN): Kohima College bid farewell to its graduating batch at the 57th social parting event held with the theme ‘Serendipity’ on Saturday. The occasion was graced by Dr Zavise Rume, Professor of Guidance & Counseling Psychology Cell at SCERT, Nagaland as the guest speaker.

In his address, Dr Zavise Rume address emphasised the importance of education in shaping the future, urging students to cultivate curiosity, skills, and patriotism. He highlighted the changing landscape of education, referencing the NEP 2020 and the need for quality education to meet evolving career demands.

Earlier, the programme commenced with rendition of the College Anthem. Dr Petevino Chase, Assistant Professor said the invocation while Nuvekho Rhakho, General Secretary KCK delivered the welcome address. The speech on behalf of Tenyesinlo Bukh, ANCSU President was read out by Assistant General Secretary Kivinok A Sema. Speeches were delivered by Chelhi Kapfo and Vikhonuo Nagi, representing the juniors and seniors respectively.
